Abstract

 Jonathans experience in architectural paintings in acrylic have enabled him to experiment further with the more textural side of his painting:
"Using a high relief texture paste, I have developed a paint on - wipe off technique that enables me to be more expressive with colour and texture. Some of the abstract paintings have been developments of the realist paintings of the buildings, others have been inspired by Space Shuttle and satelite photos of Earth".
